Scholars’ Testimonials
Transforming Lives Through Education
Coming from a financially distressed family in Howrah, continuing my education felt uncertain despite scoring 87% in my Class XII exams. DITO Social Welfare Association stood by me when my family needed it the most. With their support, I completed my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and today work as a Systems Engineer in Bangalore. DITO’s belief in my potential changed the course of my life and helped me achieve financial independence.
Growing up in Jabagram village with limited resources, becoming a doctor seemed like a distant dream. Securing 93% in my Higher Secondary exams and qualifying NEET was only the first step—the financial challenges were overwhelming. With timely support from DITO Social Welfare Association and SVBTC, I was able to pursue my MBBS without interruption. Today, as a practicing doctor, I strive to give back to society and inspire others from marginalized backgrounds to dream big.
My family faced severe financial strain, especially after my father’s major surgery. Despite being a meritorious student, continuing my education was difficult. The scholarship support I received enabled me to complete my B.E. degree with confidence. Today, I work as a Textile Engineer at Wellspun India. DITO’s support helped me turn vulnerability into professional stability.
Coming from a disadvantaged background, pursuing engineering required courage and support. When financial constraints threatened my education, DITO Social Welfare Association stepped in at the right moment. With their guidance and sponsorship support, I completed my B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and now work as a Junior Engineer with Bosch. This journey has given me confidence, dignity, and a secure future.
After losing my father suddenly, my family faced immense hardship, worsened by the COVID-19 lockdown. Yet, with my mother’s encouragement and my own determination, I secured 93% in my Class XII exams and pursued higher studies in agriculture. Today, I work in the agriculture sector, committed to serving farming communities. Education gave me strength, purpose, and hope during the darkest phase of my life.
