STEM FOR HER

Empowering Girls Through Education And Innovation

STEM for Her program aims to build equity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) by empowering girls and young women to pursue careers in STEM. We do this by providing direct exposure to hands-on experiences, mentors, role models and other programs. STEM for Her develops its own programs and partners with girl leaders, Government schools, community organizations and corporations with a strong focus on providing resources to rural students.

Workshops and Training Sessions

Hands-on workshops on robotics, coding, environmental science, and creative problem-solving introduce students to cutting-edge topics. These sessions are designed to spark curiosity and encourage collaboration.

Project-Based Classes

Students work on real-world projects, applying theoretical concepts to practical scenarios. This experiential learning approach fosters critical thinking and teamwork.

Inter-School Competitions

An Inter-School Project Competition offers students a platform to showcase their skills and innovations. Competing with peers motivates them to think outside the box and boosts their confidence.

Creating Impact

The STEM FOR HER project is more than just an educational initiative. It is a movement to:

  • Empower young girls: By equipping them with knowledge and skills in STEM fields, the program builds confidence and prepares them for future opportunities.
  • Promote gender equality: Encouraging girls to pursue STEM careers challenges stereotypes and fosters a culture of inclusion.
  • Inspire innovation: With access to resources and mentorship, these young minds can contribute innovative solutions to societal challenges.
